In exchange for the consideration of my job application by Dulac Concrete Foundations, Inc. (hereinafter called “the Company”). I agree that:
Neither the acceptance of this application nor the subsequent entry into any type of employment relationship, either in this position applied for or any other position, and regardless of the contents of employee handbooks, personnel manuals, benefit plans, policy statements, and the like as they may exist from time to time, or other Company practices, shall serve to create an actual or implied contract of employment, or to confer any right to remain an employee of Dulac Concrete Foundations, Inc., or otherwise change in any respect the employment-at-will relationship between it and the undersigned, and that the relationship cannot be altered except by a written instrument signed by the President of the Company. Dulac Concrete Foundations, Inc. may end the employment relationship at any time, without specified notice or reason. If employed, I understand that the Company may unilaterally change or reverse their benefits. Policies and procedures and such changes may include reduction in benefits.
I certify that the statements contained on this application are true. I understand that false or misleading statements on this application, any resume or during any interview may be grounds for immediate disqualification or dismissal, either before or after employment. I agree that a thorough investigation of all my statements made and my background may be made and I authorize my former employers and other persons or organizations to provide any information they have about my background and I release the company and all concerned from any liability in connection therewith. I understand that if offered a position, I will be required to submit employment eligibility proof (I-9) and may need to pass a criminal background check. I understand that I may be required to pass a physical examination to determine my ability to perform essential functions of the position. I further understand that employment may be terminated at will. If hired, I agree to be bound by all policies, rules and regulations of the company.
I further understand that my employment with the Company shall be probationary for the period of sixty (60) days, and further that at any time during the probationary period or thereafter, my employment relation with the Company is terminable at will for any reason.
